Edward Furness-Smith joins JM Finn & Co

JM Finn & Co has appointed Edward Furness-Smith as a senior investment manager in the firm’s London office.

Furness-Smith, who had been at WH Ireland for seven years prior to joining JM Finn & Co, looked after a range of private clients, trust, pension and charity portfolios alongside his colleague, John Eastgate, who will join JM Finn & Co in December 2017, following the completion of his contractual notice period.
Furness-Smith says: “I’m delighted to have joined JM Finn & Co, where I’m confident I will be able to provide clients with a quality investment management service, thanks to the huge focus on offering a highly personal service. This, combined with the recently added wealth planning proposition, eagerness for growth and robust ownership structure, was a huge factor in the decision to take the plunge and move to JM Finn & Co.”
Furness-Smith will be reporting to Sarah Soar, head of investment management, who says: “We are proud to have tempted Edward over to the firm, and I’m in no doubt that his experience and skill set will fit in seamlessly.”
