Intersect Capital has appointed former TV sports presenter Jonathan Drubner to its team of wealth advisers.
In his role, Drubner will serve Intersect’s high-net worth clients in the sports, entertainment and technology industries, responsible for wealth planning and delivering investment strategies.
Drubner joins Intersect’s new office located in Los Angeles.
Drubner joins Intersect Capital after serving more than four years as an advisor in Los Angeles at L&S Advisors. Previously, he spent 17 years as writer, producer and host for the entertainment, sports and video game industries. He was the host and producer of ESPN Road Trip, as well as the head writer and co-producer of the ESPY Awards. His work on the show earned him an Emmy nomination.
“Jonathan’s background in the entertainment and sports industries makes him a great fit to serve the athletes, performers and other high-net worth individuals on our client roster,” says Joe McLean, managing partner of Intersect Capital. “He will head our new LA office, greatly expanding our wealth management services in Southern California.”
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to not only grow my personal career as a CFP practitioner, but to call upon relationships and experiences from my previous career as I serve a uniquely successful set of clients at Intersect,” says Drubner. “I feel a close connection to these clients. My life has now come full circle; this is meant to be.”
