Rowan Dartington has hired two Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) accredited investment managers to further reinforce its teams in London and Manchester.
With 18 years’ experience managing multi-asset portfolios for private clients and their associated accounts, James Lewis joins from HSBC Discretionary Wealth Management where he was a client director responsible for managing assets of circa GBP150 million. Before that, he worked for Newton Investment Management and NatWest Stockbrokers. Lewis is joining a 10-strong team of investment managers in London.
In Manchester, Dominic Hughes is joining from Quilter Cheviot where he worked as an investment director since 2000. With over 16 years’ experience managing wealth in the North West of England, Hughes’ mission will be to develop Rowan Dartington’s presence in the region and manage relationships with clients, financial advisers and the St. James’s Place Partnership.
“I’m delighted that our fast growth means that we now need and can deploy significant efforts and resources towards increasing our footprint throughout the UK,” says executive chairman Graham Coxell. “Our strategy has always been to employ highly experienced investment managers with a great knowledge and understanding of the region they operate in. James and Dominic not only fit the bill perfectly in terms of their relevant experience and capability, they also represent an excellent cultural match with our business of ensuring that our partners, clients and employees feel liked and valued as individuals.”
