Robeco has appointed Peter Walsh as head of its UK business.
Walsh (pictured) will lead the overall sales and marketing efforts for the Robeco UK office and will also have responsibility for the operational management of the UK office.
Walsh joined Robeco in February 2014 as global head of consultant relations, and has almost 25 years of experience in the asset-management industry.
Prior to joining Robeco he was director of distribution at Treasury Group and before that held positions at various companies including Putnam Investments, Zurich Financial Services and Rothschild Asset Management.
Walsh says: “I am delighted to be leading Robeco’s presence in the UK market. Together with the team we will continue to work with UK clients and identify where Robeco’s world-class capabilities and high level expertise can be of assistance. The UK market is sophisticated and this makes our capabilities in the areas of Sustainability Integration, Credit and Quantitative Investing highly relevant.”
