Fiduciary Trust Company expands investment team

Fiduciary Trust Company, a private wealth adviser and investment management firm for high-net-worth families, individuals and non-profits, has expanded its client service team.

The company has hired Richard Olney and Peter Whitlock, both of whom are joining the firm as vice presidents and investment officers.
Olney is arriving at Fiduciary Trust with two decades of experience in financial and client services, most recently serving as trust officer at US Trust. Previously, Olney worked with charitable organisations as a relationship officer at BNY Mellon. He has also held various positions at George Beram & Co., John Hancock Funds, and Keystone Investments.
Whitlock also brings over 20 years of industry experience. Most recently, he was at Century Capital Management, where he spent 10 years as a partner, head of institutional business, and worked closely with clients across North America. Prior to Century Capital, Whitlock worked in various roles at AllianceBernstein, Fidelity Investments, and Eaton Vance.
“We are excited to welcome both Rick and Peter to our client team,” says Austin V Shapard, president and CEO of Fiduciary Trust. “Given their history of advising clients across a variety of needs and market cycles, they augment our team of experienced professionals who provide personal service to our clients.”
Olney and Whitlock will be responsible for developing and executing customised investment strategies that seek to meet the diverse needs of clients, including high-net worth individuals, families and institutions.
