A new db x-trackers bond index ETF – the db x-trackers II EUR High Yield Corporate Bond UCITS ETF (DR) – has launched on Xetra providing access to euro-denominated corporate bonds.

The new ETF, which is based on the Markit iBoxx EUR Liquid High Yield Index, enables investors to participate in the performance of the largest and most liquid euro-denominated corporate bonds from the sub-investment grade segment.

These can be issued by companies both within and outside of Europe.

The index generally only contains bonds with a term of between two and 10.5 years as of the rebalancing date and a rating of below Baa3/BBB- from a reputable rating agency.

They can have either a fixed or variable rate of interest. The maximum weighting per issuer is 3 per cent and 20 per cent per country. The index is re-balanced on a monthly basis.
