Pinnacle Wealth Brokers has selected the Univeris technology platform to enhance and grow its business in the exempt market dealer (EMD) and private capital space.

Pinnacle Wealth Brokers is the largest EMD of its kind in Canada, providing investors an opportunity to diversify into private market investments that generally are not offered by traditional financial institutions, including direct private equity in operating businesses, secured income stream pools, diversified income funds and direct real estate investments in commercial, residential, farmland, and pre-development land.

"As an industry leader, we were seeking a FinTech solution that was reliable, efficient, easy to use, and adaptable to our unique needs. We are truly excited for this partnership with Univeris," says Darvin Zurfluh, CEO and chairman of Pinnacle Wealth Brokers. "Leveraging the market-leading EMD technology platform will allow for efficiencies in our processes and will drive our ability to scale our business in the private capital market space.”

Univeris' Flex technology software platform specifically designed for EMDs offers all the features necessary for EMDs to maximise the benefits of technology, take a step beyond competitors, and differentiate their business.

"Our EMD technology platform will enable Pinnacle Wealth Brokers to focus on business growth powered by a high degree of automation in compliance and operations," says Emmanuel Gonnet, vice president of product management at Univeris. "Our expertise in the EMD space, coupled with our scalable technology, enables us to support and service an EMD organisation of any size.”
