Newly-formed DG Wealth Partners has joined the Dynasty Network of Advisory Firms.

Financial adviser David Darby has partnered with Melissa Gray to launch DG Wealth Partners. Previously, the team supervised USD1 billion in client assets at Goldman Sachs in their Palm Beach, Florida office. DG Wealth Partners will focus its services on entrepreneurs, C-suite executives and families with complex financial portfolios.

Darby worked at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management for 21 years, most recently as a Vice President in their Palm Beach office. Gray joins the firm with over a decade of experience serving high net worth families, entrepreneurs, executives and non-profit institutions. She previously worked at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management for seven years.

“Melissa and I are delighted to have unfettered access to investment opportunities, client servicing technologies, and wealth management resources by partnering with Dynasty, that will allow us to serve as a truly outsourced family office,” says Darby. “We feel this is the future of the wealth management advisory business and want to be on the cutting edge for the benefit of our clients and their families.”

At DG Wealth Partners, Darby is responsible for aligning each client’s investment portfolio with their cash-flow needs, planning goals and risk tolerance. He is experienced in managing multi-asset class portfolios of public and private investments as well as managing discrete portfolios of stocks, bonds, ETFs and options. He has spent his career helping clients to structure, execute and implement complicated planning strategies.

As the Director of Client Relations of DG Wealth Partners, Gray’s primary focus is the integration and management of all aspects of the client experience. She manages the daily operations of the team, including account opening and administration, money transfers, performance reporting and ongoing custodial relationships. She also partners with clients’ accountants, estate planning attorneys and other trusted advisors to ensure cohesion across all areas in their financial plan.

“David, Melissa and the DG Wealth Partners team have an impressive business with deep ties to the community. We are really looking forward to working with them on expanding their family office services and investment opportunities – as well as their goal to establish a broader footprint over time,” says Shirl Penney, CEO of Dynasty Financial Partners.

DG Wealth Partners has formed strategic partnerships with Schwab Advisor Services as primary custodian of client assets and Dynasty Financial Partners for the robust analytics and operational support that will allow the firm to deliver objective and personalised service at the highest level. DG Wealth Partners will engage with Dynasty on building out their technology, practice management, marketing and branding capabilities while streamlining their operations and investments platform.
