The Glenmede Trust Company has chosen the Charles River Investment Management Solution (Charles River IMS) as the enterprise investment management platform for its institutional and wealth management businesses.

The SaaS-based solution provides Philadelphia, PA-based Glenmede with a single system for risk and scenario analysis, portfolio analytics and construction, order and execution management, post-trade processing, compliance, performance measurement, IBOR, and Transaction Cost Analysis.

The Charles River IMS will support Glenmede’s portfolio managers, traders, compliance and operations staff in making and administering public investments across various types of securities. Real-time pricing, reference and benchmark data will be provided and managed via Charles River’s integrated data services.

“The depth of Charles River’s decision support capabilities and their strong commitment to both wealth management and institutional asset management will help us better provide personalised services and sustainable solutions to clients. Their ability to support all asset classes and handle high volume in a single system allows Glenmede to streamline processes to reduce risk while planning for future growth,” says Lou Pellicori (pictured), Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director, Glenmede.

“For many firms like Glenmede, adopting an enterprise platform not only lowers costs but enables standardisation, product cross-selling and collaboration between business units,” says Tom Driscoll, Global Managing Director, Charles River. “Consolidating all operations on a single platform provides significant efficiencies as well as a better ability to manage enterprise risk and compliance.”
