Entrepreneur Partners to launch EnPa Swiss Top Picks Fund

Entrepreneur Partners AG, a FINMA-regulated asset manager based in Zurich, is expanding its fund offering by launching the EnPa Swiss Top Picks Fund. Portfolio managers of the new fund will be Reto Brühwiler (pictured), who is set to join Entrepreneur Partners, and Rudolf König.

Following the success of the “Tavau Swiss Fund”, Entrepreneur Partners AG will now launch its second public Swiss fund with a focus on Swiss equities, particularly in the mid- and small-cap segment, with the new EnPa Swiss Top Picks Fund. The objective is to bundle the 10-15 best investment ideas, or top picks, from our proprietary research into this one fund to achieve above-average absolute returns over the medium to long term. As with the “Tavau Swiss Fund”, “EnPa Swiss Top Picks Fund” will implement strategic hedging for parts of the portfolio to reduce fluctuations in value.
The new fund will be managed by Swiss equity experts Reto Brühwiler (pictured), who will join Entrepreneur Partners AG, and Rudolf König. Reto Brühwiler has many years of experience as a broker for Swiss equities and has received awards for the excellence of his know-how. He was most recently Head of Sales at Mainfirst (Switzerland) AG. Rudolf König has built up a track record over the past few years as the portfolio manager of the “Tavau Swiss Fund”, which has achieved an average annual performance of +15.0 per cent (SPI +11.0 per cent) since 2013. Together the two portfolio managers have over 60 years of experience in the Swiss equity market, and their network within the industry and long-standing contacts to management of the companies in their investment universe will build the basis for successful portfolio management.
Oliver Ganz, co-founder and CEO of Entrepreneur Partners AG, says of the company’s next stage of growth: “Over the past few years, we have been able to establish a strong reputation with our funds and anchor our expertise in Swiss equities as one of our core competencies. With the “EnPa Swiss Top Picks Fund” we are adding an investment fund to our fund offering that meets the repeated requests of our clients for a fund in this form.”
Daniel T Müller, co-founder and Head Asset Management of Entrepreneur Partners AG, adds: “We are pleased to have gained another expert in Swiss equities with the addition of Reto Brühwiler to our team. Reto has in-depth knowledge of the Swiss investment universe, and his experience and expertise will form a sound basis for successful fund management.”
The EnPa Swiss Top Picks Fund will be launched on 30 June 2017 and can be subscribed to on a daily basis from the launch date. Interested investors can place their subscription with the custodian bank of their choice effective immediately.
