New President appointed to CISI Jersey branch

Edward Loader (pictured), Chartered FCSI, has been appointed President of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Jersey branch.

Loader is a co-founder and Managing Director of Integritas Wealth Partners and graduated from the University of Exeter with BSC (Hons) in Mathematics. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Edward holds a number of professional qualifications including the CISI Masters in Wealth Management and the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management.
Loader has over ten years of wealth management experience, working with private clients and intermediaries in developing investment and holistic wealth solutions. Before establishing Integritas Wealth Partners, his most recent role had been as a Director in the investments department of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Wealth Management, moving to Jersey in 2013 from RBC’s London office.
Loader says: “I feel honoured and privileged to have been appointed to this role and will carry out my duties as best I can to serve the membership for the next two years. The Jersey branch is in great shape, with record numbers of CPD events, which continue to be free to our members, the highest attendance record from any of the CISI branches and a rejuvenated annual dinner thanks to the hard work of outgoing president Peter Lucas and the committee.
“There has also been a lot of hard work going on in the background to establish connections with local schools, and an insights day has been planned for October for sixth formers to get a taste of what working in the investments profession is like. Many thanks must go to Paul Groden for his hard work as our education officer.
“I hope to continue to build on the educational side of our duties I aim to collaborate with other professional bodies on the island, for both CPD and networking opportunities, to help promote our professions, such as the recent joint event with the CAIA on hedge funds.”
Peter Lucas, Chartered FCSI and outgoing President has congratulated Edward on his appointment and wished him well in his two year term of office. He says: “I really enjoyed my time as President and truly got a lot out of the experience, and would urge others to consider joining the Committee.”
Kevin Moore MCSI, CISI Director of Global Business Development, says: “We would like to thank Peter Lucas for his time as President of the Jersey branch and for his achievements for both the membership and the profession. We look forward to supporting Edward as new President, helping him to plan and shape an exciting programme for the year ahead.”
