Hervé Guez (pictured), Head of Responsible Investment Research, will now take on the additional role of Head of Equities and Fixed Income at Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Global Asset Management.

Guez will be in charge of coordinating the fund management teams in Paris. He will report to Philippe Zaouati, Chief Executive Officer of Mirova. For Equities and Fixed Income, he will functionally report to Jens Peers, Global CIO Equities and Fixed Income, based in Boston.

“We seek to consolidate our expertise by strengthening the collaboration between the research and management teams. The appointment of Hervé Guez allows us to better serve our goal of creating added value for our clients, with management that incorporates environmental, social and governance criteria, as we gain in momentum for development in Europe and the US,” says Philippe Zaouati, Chief Executive Officer of Mirova.

Hervé Guez has been Head of Responsible Investment Research at Mirova since the company’s inception in 2012. Trained as a financial analyst, he worked for 10 years as a bond market credit analyst for various companies. He joined Natixis Asset Management in 2007 as a senior credit analyst, then, convinced that financial markets could better allocate capital by considering more social and environmental issues, he became Head of Extra-financial Research at Natixis Asset Management in 2008.

Hervé Guez has a specialised postgraduate degree (DESS) in banking and finance, is a graduate of the SFAF (French Society of Financial Analysts) and a CIIA (Certified International Investment Analyst).

Hervé is committed to promoting responsible investment. In 2014, he co-authored Pour une finance positive (For Positive Finance) with Philippe Zaouati, a work published by Rue de l’échiquier.
