SIX Swiss Exchange sees increased trading turnover

The SIX Swiss Exchange saw trading turnover in the first half of 2017 up by 5.3 per cent year-on-year to CHF723.6 billion.

There was an average trading turnover per day of CHF5.8 billion and an   increase in the number of trades in the first half of 2017 of 2.1 per cent versus the prior year to 25,943,274.
SIX reports that equity and bond indices have made gains in the year to date and three new companies listed, with Idorsia Ltd the most recent new entrant in June.
