Quilter Cheviot’s Jersey office adds to investment management team

Discretionary investment firm Quilter Cheviot has expanded its team with the addition of investment manager Lee Morris in the firm’s Jersey office.

Morris is a chartered wealth manager with over 15 years’ experience within investment banking and portfolio management. He joins the firm as an investment director and will focus on the fixed interest markets as well as on international activities.
 
Morris joins Quilter Cheviot from investment firm Smith and Williamson International where he was a director of investment management. He was previously a senior investment manager at Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management.
 
Morris says: “Quilter Cheviot has an excellent and long-standing reputation within the Channel Islands and is known for providing high-quality investment management expertise as well as exceptional levels of client service. I’m thrilled to be joining such a creditable and experienced team.”
 
He will report to Tim Childe, head of Quilter Cheviot’s Jersey Office and head of International. Childe says: “The appointment of Lee will help strengthen what is an already an exceptionally robust team here in Jersey and help us to grow our client base. I am delighted to welcome him on board.”
