Boston Private, a provider of fully integrated wealth management, trust and private banking services, has appointed Claire Schissler as Managing Director and Fiduciary Manager on the West Coast.
Based in Boston Private’s San Mateo, California office, Schissler will be responsible for managing all aspects of trust administration and overseeing a regional team of trust officers.

Schissler has over 16 years of experience in the trust services industry, including 10 years in a management capacity. Before joining Boston Private, Schissler led City National Bank’s Northern California trust team based in San Francisco and, prior to that, managed a team of ten trust officers and administrators for Bank of the West in the San Jose/Silicon Valley and Sacramento markets. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from San Jose State University and her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law.
