Livingbridge launches UK Multi Cap Income Fund

RELATED TOPICS

Livingbridge has expanded its Equity Funds business with a new UK Multi Cap Income Fund in addition to its top-performing CF Livingbridge UK Micro Cap Fund.

The firm continues to bring its private equity heritage and experience to focus on high growth, listed companies.

The CF Livingbridge UK Micro Cap Fund was launched in 2009 and has grown organically alongside the Livingbridge private equity business and Baronsmead Venture Trusts. With the launch of the new CF Livingbridge UK Multi Cap Income Fund, the firm’s strategy continues to apply a private equity mind-set to equity funds by adding an investment edge that results in high conviction portfolios which are designed to outperform.

The CF Livingbridge UK Multi Cap Income Fund aims to deliver top-quartile returns through focused, stock-picking, long-term investment, whilst building on its expertise in small and medium-sized companies to deliver a differentiated, multi-cap income strategy with the added potential of dividend growth.

Ken Wotton (pictured), Director and Lead Fund Manager, Livingbridge Equity Funds, says: “Our success to date is based on our deep understanding of the businesses we invest in. This, along with our differentiated approach enables us to bring a razor-sharp focus to our bottom-up investing. We assess companies through our four cornerstones of investing: people, platform, position and performance. We analyse a company’s financial performance, work to ensure the right people are in place, the business is prepared for growth and that it has the right strategy in place.

“Finding and backing scalable cash generative businesses early in their growth journey is our core focus. We bring a private equity lens to equity funds, which allow us to find companies with the strongest potential to deliver long-term returns.”

Livingbridge invests in the sectors that drive the UK economy: consumer markets; technology, media and telecommunications; business services; and healthcare and education. These sectors account for 80 per cent of the UK’s GDP and are crucial for the future of the UK’s growth potential.

Both the CF Livingbridge UK Micro Cap Fund and the CF Livingbridge UK Multi Cap Income Fund are managed by Ken Wotton who is supported by 45 investment and research professionals across the wider business
