BNY Mellon Wealth Management has named Jeremy Davin Hume, MBA, CRPC, as wealth director and vice president of the Southern Nevada region, and Douglas Gold as wealth director in the firm’s Las Vegas, Nev. office.
Hume will report to Regional President Bob Martin, and will be responsible for business development strategy in Southern Nevada, concentrating in the Henderson region. He will work with individuals and families to identify ways in which BNY Mellon Wealth Management can help them reach their financial goals.
Gold, a 17-year veteran of the financial services industry, will also report to Martin, and will be responsible for business development efforts. He will serve as a member of the client service team that manages delivery of BNY Mellon’s comprehensive solution suite including investment management, wealth and estate planning, trust and estate services, and private banking services.
“Jeremy and Doug will be a great assets to our team, bringing in fresh perspectives and new ideas backed by their many years of experience in the financial services industry and the private wealth space,” says Martin. “We are delighted that they will lead our business development efforts throughout Southern Nevada as we continue to expand our presence in the region.”
Hume joins the team as a seasoned advisor with 10 years of experience in financial services and wealth management catering to high net worth clients. Before joining BNY Mellon Wealth Management, he was a wealth advisor at Nevada State Bank and at Wells Fargo, providing financial advice and brokerage services. In addition to his financial services work, Hume also serves as a mentor at the Core Academy youth program.
Prior to joining BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Gold was an associate wealth advisor and private banker at Wells Fargo, where he specialised in building, protecting, preserving and transferring wealth for individuals and families. Before that he held the position of regional private banker at Wells Fargo, providing full-service banking to affluent and high net worth clients and overseeing a portfolio of complex account relationships. He is on the Associate Board of the Anti-Defamation League and works with the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA) Youth Rally.
