USA Financial Exchange adds additional asset managers to turnkey asset management program

USA Financial Exchange has added Horizon Investments and Flexible Plan Investments to the list of asset managers available on its turnkey asset management program (TAMP).

The TAMP makes dozens of institutionally managed investment strategies available through a unified management account (UMA). According to the most recent regulatory filings, Horizon Investments manages more than USD2.9 billion and Flexible Plan Investments manages more than USD1.6 billion.

Horizon and Flexible Plan Investments join a group of other recognised asset managers on the USA Financial Exchange platform, including BTS Asset Management, Q3 Asset Management, Symmetry Partners, USA Financial Portformulas, WE Donoghue & Co, Inc, and CLS Investments.

“We’re not looking to add asset managers for the sake of adding managers,” says Matt McGrew, Chief Operations Officer of USA Financial. “Our primary goal is to add managers with strategies that complement one another in the asset-management equation and are willing participants in partnering with us to educate and explain how their strategies work within an investment portfolio. Horizon and FPI each have a unique set of strategies that we’ve made available on the platform, including some income-based solutions, as well as socially responsible and faith-based strategies.”

Outsourcing investment management is considered a best practice for most broker-dealers, registered investment advisor firms (RIAs), and other family offices. TAMPs also enable financial advisors to work with their clients more effectively and support functions ranging from operations to compliance to reporting.

USA Financial introduced the platform in October 2016 to a small group of advisors and reported immediate positive feedback and quick adoption. The firm was recognised in 2016 for the third consecutive year on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list, which refers to the 5,000 fastest growing, privately held companies in America. “We really wanted to make the entire process easier for financial advisors and their clients,” said Brent Enders, President of USA Financial. “It’s exciting to see that vision being carried out by our team and being embraced by the advisors and clients we serve.”
