Schmidt Financial Group has joined the Dynasty Financial Partners network of advisory firms. Based in Kirkland, Washington, Schmidt Financial Group is an independent RIA managing more than USD300 million in client assets.

Schmidt Financial Group was founded in 1993 by Glenda Schmidt who taught financial planning seminars on Microsoft’s Redmond campus for more than a decade. The team has built on that legacy expanding client relationships beyond Microsoft to include additional premiere technology giants including Amazon, Google, Facebook and more.

“As an independent firm for twenty-five years, we have deep experience working with clients in the tech space and have developed a distinctive business model that has successfully supported our clients’ high net worth lifestyles. Over that time span, what began as individual relationships has grown into family household relationships serving multiple generations,” says Schmidt, founding principal.

According to Evan Schmidt, Schmidt’s son and second generation principal: “Working with Dynasty Financial Partners, I’m excited to position the firm for future expansion by focusing on executives and technology professionals experiencing sudden wealth through acquisitions and going public.”

Schmidt Financial Group has formed strategic partnerships with some of the leading providers including Pershing Advisory Services, Addepar and Dynasty Financial Partners to capitalise on advances in technology, investments and robust analytics that will allow it to continue delivering objective and personalised service at a high level. “Glenda, Evan and their team at Schmidt Financial Group have extraordinary experience in working with successful technology entrepreneurs and professionals,” says Shirl Penney, Dynasty’s CEO. “We are proud to welcome them as a Dynasty Network Advisory Firm. We are looking forward to partnering with them to better serve their existing clients and to position their firm for future growth.”

Schmidt Financial Group will engage with Dynasty on building out their practice management including marketing and branding, and in streamlining their operations, investments and technology.
