Boston Private, a provider of fully integrated wealth management, trust and private banking services, has appointed Jeffrey Dickinson as Senior Vice President and Team Leader for Specialty Lending in New England.
In this role, Dickinson will be responsible for overseeing Boston Private’s New England Specialty Lending Group, supporting not-for-profit, professional service and private partnership clients as well as high net worth individuals. He will report to Gisela LoPiano, Boston Private’s East Coast Market Leader for the Commercial Banking Group.
“Jeff is a 20-year banking professional with extensive experience serving clients in the New England region,” says LoPiano. “We are excited to have him aboard and look forward to his contributions as we continue to grow our specialty lending business on both coasts.”

Prior to joining East Boston Saving Bank in 2011, he was a commercial relationship manager with Danversbank, TD Bank and Eastern Bank, after starting his career with BayBank.
Dickinson has a comprehensive track record of community involvement. He’s currently an active board member of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, and has served on numerous other not-for-profit boards including Aspire Developmental Services (formerly Cerebral Palsy Association of Eastern Mass) and the Friends of the Northshore Education Consortium. He was an active member of the Beverly Rotary Club for ten years, and is currently the Treasurer of Masco Youth Football and Masco Babe Ruth.
