Sanlam boosts Private Office with two hires

Sanlam UK boosted the development of its Private Office proposition by appointing Jonathan Moon and Will Cayzer. Both join from Close Brothers Asset Management and assume the roles of Business Development Director and Business Development Assistant respectively.

Moon and Cayzer join Penny Lovell, CEO, Sanlam Private Office in their new roles. Announced in August 2017, Penny will be responsible for spearheading Sanlam UK’s new offering for high net worth clients with assets worth upwards of GBP1 million.

Moon joins Sanlam UK having spent the last two years at Close Brothers Asset Management, where he was Business Development Director. Previously, he held similar roles at Tilney Investment Management and Tilney Bestinvest. Cayzer joins after also having spent the last two years at Close Brothers Asset Management and previously spent time at Fleming Family and Partners.

Lovell says: “Both Jonathan and Will are highly talented professionals with a deep understanding of the needs and requirements of high net worth individuals. I have worked with them closely over a number of years and I am confident that, together, we can create a first-class high net worth Private Office proposition at Sanlam UK.”

Jonathan Polin, Group CEO, says: “The launch of a Private Office extends our service in the UK and bolsters our ability to offer tailored solutions for high net worth clients. Penny’s team will deliver a high quality Private Office proposition and will be central to us cementing our position as one of the UK’s leading wealth managers.”
