Unigestion, the boutique asset manager that focuses on providing its clients with risk-managed investment solutions, has appointed Paul Osborne as Director, UK Institutional Clients and Claire Harding as Co-Head of Consultant Relations.

Previously Head of UK Business Development at PineBridge Investments, Osborne has joined Unigestion to head up the firm’s UK institutional sales. He brings a wealth of asset management experience to the Unigestion team, having been in the industry for over 22 years in both direct investment and sales roles. Paul will lead the firm’s efforts in the institutional market, with a particular focus on UK corporate pension schemes and insurers. He will report directly to Tom Leavitt (pictured), Managing Director and Head of Institutional sales globally.

Unigestion has also further bolstered its London based sales team with the appointment of Harding as Co-Head of Consultant Relations. She joined the team at the end of June from Lombard Odier, where she was Head of Global Consultant Relations, and is now working alongside fellow Co-Head of Consultant Relations, Ken Harvie. Together they are responsible for building on the company’s existing strong relationships, developing broader relationships globally and working to ensure Unigestion continues to achieve its ambitious sales’ strategy.

Tom Leavitt, Head of Institutional Clients, says: “These two strategic hires illustrate Unigestion’s commitment to the UK and its ambitions to further grow in this market. Paul and Claire both bring an additional vision and the complementary network needed to implement the next phase of our growth plan for the business.”

Paul Osborne, Director, UK Institutional Sales, says: “Unigestion has a dynamic product offering across all asset classes that I believe will only continue to gain traction in the UK market. The firm’s risk managed approach to investing resonates well with UK pension schemes’ investment objectives, and I am excited to be part of the business’ next stage of growth.”

Claire Harding, Co-Head of Consultant Relations, says: “Unigestion has a strong and respected brand across the consultancy community and is ideally positioned to provide innovative and tailor made client solutions. This is an exciting time for Unigestion and I am delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to achieving the company’s ambitious strategy.”
