Vanguard opens in Germany and launches Euro STOXX 50 ETF

Vanguard has expanded its ETF offering into Germany with the listing of a range of equity and fixed income ETFs on the Deutsche Börse.

Sean Hagerty, Head of Europe at Vanguard says: “We are very excited to be bringing our value proposition to Germany. We want to use our global experience and scale to offer investors the value for money they deserve.

“Over the next few months we look forward to increasing our presence in Germany, including opening an office in 2018.”

As of today, Vanguard’s full UCITS ETF range, including equities, fixed income and active factor products, are available on the Deutsche Börse. German investors can also invest in Vanguard’s UCITS range of low-cost active and index mutual funds.

In separate news, Vanguard has also launched the Vanguard Euro STOXX 50 UCITS ETF, listed on the London Stock Exchange and Deutsche Börse. The Vanguard Euro STOXX 50 UCITS ETF offers access to successful, multi-national European firms in the Eurozone, across a diverse range of industries and sectors. It carries an ongoing charge figure (OCF) of 0.10 per cent.

Robyn Laidlaw, UK Head of Distribution, Vanguard says: “We continue to expand our range of ETFs in the UK and Europe, always with the aim of meeting the evolving needs of investors. The Vanguard EURO STOXX 50 UCITS ETF provides investors with transparent and liquid access to successful companies, at a low fee.”
