Kestra Private Wealth Services, LLC (Kestra PWS), a registered investment adviser subsidiary of Kestra Financial that supports independent advisor teams nationwide, has partnered with White Cap Wealth Management (White Cap).

Based in Provo, Utah, the advisory team at White Cap Wealth Management oversees approximately USD150 million in assets and is led by David Johnston, President, and KC Johnston, Chief Financial Officer.

The White Cap team has a combined 40 years of wealth management experience, specialising in individual investment management, executive stock compensation consultation, and 401(k) design and implementation for plan sponsors, among other areas.

“When it came time to break free from the wirehouse environment, we wanted to partner with a firm that gave us all the tools, support, and guidance needed so we could focus on growing our practice. Kestra PWS really delivered on that front,” says David Johnston. “We chose Kestra PWS because of the accessibility of the team, the boutique-like atmosphere it cultivates and the proven track record of empowering advisors to take control of their own destiny.”

The partnership continues Kestra PWS’ recruiting momentum and success in helping wirehouse advisors find independence.

“At Kestra PWS, our business is centred on building and maintaining close relationships with our advisors. Advisors want to be out of the wirehouse, but they don’t want to be isolated,” says Rob Bartenstein, CEO of Kestra PWS. ”We’re eager to help the White Cap team build a long-lasting legacy and continue to provide excellent, hands-on service to their clients.”
