Fiera Capital adopts Charles River’s enterprise platform for institutional and private client investments

Fiera Capital, an affiliate of Fiera Capital Corporation, has chosen the Charles River Investment Management Solution (Charles River IMS) for its institutional and private client investment management businesses.

The SaaS-based solution will serve as an end-to-end platform for Fiera Capital’s portfolio managers, traders, compliance and operations staff.
The Charles River IMS provides Fiera Capital with risk and scenario analysis, portfolio analytics and construction, order and execution management, post-trade processing and compliance. Charles River enables Fiera Capital to automate the trading process from first capture of an order through final settlement.
“In order to support our continued growth in the United States, we needed a system that could scale up as we bring on new investment strategies,” says Benjamin S Thompson, President and CEO, Fiera Capital’s US division. “We chose Charles River because we can consolidate all of the assets onto one platform and centralise compliance oversight across all of our investment teams.”
“For firms such as Fiera Capital, supporting both wealth and institutional clientele on one platform solves a number of challenges and creates opportunities for synergies,” says Tom Driscoll (pictured), Global Managing Director, Charles River. “Besides consolidation, cost reduction and eliminating manual processes, it allows a complete view across businesses.”
