New Raymond James office opens in South Cotswolds

A new Raymond James branch will be opened in Gloucestershire, run by branch principal Richard Fowler. The branch – called Raymond James, South Cotswolds – will offer bespoke investment management services to the local area and beyond.

Richard joins from Charles Stanley, for whom he had worked since 2010. Richard brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked in financial markets for 28 years for companies such as UBS Phillips & Drew, Albert E Sharp and Redmayne Bentley.
On working with Raymond James, Richard, says: “The freedom that Raymond James provides was key to my decision to partner with them. The institutional support, tools, and technology that they are able to offer will allow me to focus on providing a personalised service to my clients, which is something that is very important to the way I work.
“I am a firm believer that when it comes to their money, people want to deal with someone who understands their individual financial goals. My partnership with Raymond James allows me to provide this as an alternative to the ‘model’ approach which the industry is increasingly focused around. Having run successful independent ventures in the past, I’m relishing the opportunity to have complete freedom to make my own decisions and build a successful new business.”
Anthony Scott, Head of Business Development, Raymond James, says: “I have known Richard for a number of years and we are delighted to have him on board.  His extensive experience advising clients, as well as the way he approaches client relationships is fully aligned with Raymond James, and his personalised approach matches our culture and how we think business should be done. We are looking forward to supporting Richard as he develops his new branch.”
