The fund is now open for subscriptions and scheduled to launch on 28 February 2018. The founder share class, which features discounted management and performance fees, will be closed after launch.

Dr Tillmann Sachs (pictured), Chief Investment Officer and Founder of J8, says: “We are delighted to launch a Luxembourg UCITS fund based on our profitable J8 Global Absolute Return Strategy and equally thrilled to be able to open systematic global absolute returns up to retail investors. This will help those investors seeking greater portfolio diversification and offer a new source of return that can be used in savings and retirement products alike.”

“It will provide our investors with exciting new opportunities help access attractive risk-adjusted returns. We focus on long-term portfolio protection and portfolio diversification, by bringing an enhanced CTA/managed futures model to market which is retaining exposure to commodity returns within the UCITS framework whilst excluding equity exposure. As PRI signatory, we incorporate ESG factors in our investment strategy and process.”

“Our profitable five-year audited live trading track record, of which three years are in the finalised strategy, validates our investment strategy design which has been scientifically tested with data going back to the 1980s.”
