NOYES, a 110-year-old wealth management and investment banking firm, has added veteran advisor Timothy J “TJ” Hoffman to its Wealth Management Division.

Hoffman joins the firm as a vice president after nearly two decades working as a wholesaler and financial advisor. He will be based in the firm’s Elgin, Ill. office and provide wealth management counsel to select, discerning clients in the region.

Hoffman began his career at Fidelity Investments, where he worked for 15 years. There he was a recipient of the firm’s President’s Circle award, reserved for top-rated performers. At Fidelity, he focused on providing wealth management counsel to a variety of clients. He has extensive experience in portfolio construction and design, performance measurement, investment review and analysis of asset allocation and equities. Prior to joining NOYES, Hoffman held wealth management positions at J.P. Morgan, Fidelity, and TD Ameritrade. He holds Life and Health Insurance licenses, as well as FINRA Licenses Series 7, 63 and 66.

Hoffman’s hire signals a continued growth trajectory for NOYES, as the company builds upon its reputation as one of the most respected and successful wealth management firms in the Midwest.

“As we progress in our commitment to growing our Wealth Management Division, we are pleased that TJ has joined the NOYES family in Elgin,” says Jim Lynch, market leader and managing director at NOYES. “He personifies the excellence, integrity and wise counsel that have set NOYES apart as a preeminent advisory firm for over a century.”

“I am delighted to join the exceptional team at NOYES,” said Hoffman. “The firm’s rich history, commitment to personalized service, full spectrum of wealth management tools and access to unparalleled money management talent makes it an excellent fit for me. I look forward to leveraging these resources to help build and service innovative financial plans, and to providing the responsive, attentive counsel my clients deserve.”
