BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has launched a US Small Cap Equity actively managed mutual fund, shortly following the launch of the Emerging Markets Total Return Fixed Income mutual fund in December 2017.
The BNPP AM US Small Cap Equity Fund seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of quality companies. The fund will aim to identify companies that have competitive advantages which have the potential to sustainably grow their earnings, in an attempt to produce attractive long-term risk adjusted returns. They are part of a dedicated seven-member investment team that averages 16 years of investment experience and has USD951 million in AUM for US Small Caps (as of 31 December 2017). The team also manages mid- and large cap US equities with a total of USD3 billion AUM (as of 31 December 2017). Total equities AUM for all of BNP Paribas Asset Management is USD110 billion.
