TrackInsight, an independent global ETF data and analytics platform, has released its 2018 Winter ETF ratings, with 1,015 Europe-listed and 968 North America-listed ETFs now covered.

TrackInisght’s ratings are designed to enable investors to easily assess the replication quality of ETFs based on a three-year track record. These 1,983 rated ETFs, covering all asset classes and the most sought-after benchmarks, have over USD3.6 trillion in AUM as of 31 December 2017.

Amongst them, 542 have been awarded three to five stars, a testimony to their superior performance vs peers both in terms of tracking difference and tracking error. Such high-quality ETFs – accounting for 60 per cent-plus of global ETF AUM – make up the “TrackInsight A-list”, which is now considered as the industry benchmark for listed passive funds by large institutional investors.

TrackInsight independent ratings are based on a systematic quantitative analysis of at least three years of track record and shed light on the ETFs offering the best in class replication of their respective index.

Ratings can be found using the free search bar, analysis, comparison and monitoring tools of the TrackInsight platform. In total, TrackInsight provides full transparency on 4,000+ funds.
