Rockefeller Capital Management, an independent financial services firm, has added Michael Brakey and Grace Yoon to the firm’s team.
The new hires are the latest in a series of experienced industry leaders who have joined Rockefeller since its launch this month, as the firm begins to add to its wealth and asset management capabilities and build a strategic advisory business. Rockefeller serves ultra- and high-net-worth families, institutional investors and corporations.
“Attracting talented individuals is critically important to fulfilling our commitment to offer clients the finest services, products and capabilities,” says Gregory J Fleming, President and CEO. “I am delighted to welcome Mike and Grace to Rockefeller. They bring great experience, knowledge and skills in areas of the business that we will build, including asset-based lending and strategic advisory. They will be important members of our senior executive team.”
At Rockefeller, Brakey will be Head of Credit and Banking in the Wealth Management business, developing client deposit and credit solutions, including asset-based lending, in support of broad client strategic and liquidity needs. Yoon will be the Chief Operating Officer of Strategic Advisory as well as Head of Strategic Initiatives for the firm overall. Yoon will join the Executive Committee, and Brakey will join the firm’s Operating Committee.
The addition of Brakey and Yoon follows the hiring of Jonathan Eisenberg, General Counsel; Ed Moriarty, Chief Financial Officer; Christopher Randazzo, Head of Wealth Management and Head of Technology & Operations; Jeffrey Shames, Senior Strategy Adviser; and Harry Singh, Chief Operating Officer. John J Brennan, former Chairman and CEO of Vanguard, has joined the Rockefeller Board of Directors. Rockefeller expects to add more professionals and independent board directors.
