AW Jones launches AW Jones Private Advisors

RELATED TOPICS

AW Jones Advisors has launched AW Jones Private Advisors, a boutique investment advisor that offers wealth management services on an open-architecture investment platform with a specialisation in alternative investments.

AW Jones Private Advisors is led by Robert L Burch, Chief Investment Officer of AW Jones Company, one of the earliest multi-manager funds with a 33-year track record; and Thomas J Haug, President. They have appointed Avi J Rosenblatt, CPA as CFO and CCO, and David D Leveroni, formerly responsible for investment due diligence at alternative asset management firm Permal Group, as Head of Investment Research.

Burch, says: “We expect AW Jones Private Advisors to be a preferred destination for sophisticated clients who seek deep investment expertise, un-conflicted advice and tailored portfolios. We believe our firm is a superior choice for advisors seeking professionalism, integrity and culture. We expect AW Jones Private Advisors to grow rapidly – both organically and inorganically – by providing advisors with independence and flexibility.”

AW Jones Private Advisors’ independent, multi-asset class investment approach creates access to traditional equity, fixed income, hedge fund, private equity and real-estate strategies, where large firms may be constrained because of their size and business models. The firm utilises in-house investment research to source unique, highly-specialised investment managers to design and implement customised investment solutions. Account aggregation and performance reporting technologies provide the firm’s clients and advisors with holistic portfolio analysis.

Haug says: “We are building an independent, performance-oriented, boutique investment advisor with the investment prowess and resources of a large institution. We identified a void in the industry between being an employee at a large organisation or operating as a sole practitioner. We are creating a firm where advisors have a voice and can tend to their client needs by allocating portfolios in an independent and tailored fashion, while also being additive to the firm’s investment philosophy and culture. We are seeing more sophisticated advisors and teams choosing boutique firms as the path to best benefit their clients.”
