HANetf, Europe’s first white label ETF platform, has appointed Mark Tan as Director of Operations.

Reporting to Nik Bienkowski, co-CEO of HANetf, Tan will be responsible for managing day to day operations, working closely with fund administrators, custody and compliance partners to support the needs of HANetf’s on-platform fund managers and investors.

Tan brings over 10 years of investment management operations experience and 18 years in financial services. He joins HANetf from Blackfriars Asset Management where he held the position of Operations Director. Tan holds an MsC in Computer Science from Imperial College London and a BA Hons. in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.

Bienkowski says: “The combination of strong in-house team and best-in-class service partners demonstrates HANetf’s unwavering focus on operational integrity. We are delighted to have Mark join us as his experience further enhances HANetf’s unique white label proposition – enabling asset managers to launch and distribute ETFs without the time and costs required in developing their own in-house infrastructure.”

Tan says: “HANetf boasts a unique proposition for traditional fund managers wishing to take advantage of the continued growth of ETFs. All active managers should consider having a strategy with regards to the ETF market and I sincerely look forward to becoming part of a forward-thinking team able to lower the barriers to entry for asset managers who recognise the benefits of a white label solution.”
