Marlborough International appoints Head of Business Development

Marlborough International has appointed Linda McLaren to the newly created role of Head of Business Development.

McLaren, who has 20 years’ experience managing relationships with international financial advisers, joins from Brooks Macdonald, where she was Business Development Director for the offshore market.
 
In her new role she will work at a strategic level, helping to develop and implement Marlborough International’s growth plan.
 
A spokesman for Marlborough International says: “Linda has an in-depth knowledge of the international market and her expertise will be invaluable in developing our strategy as we continue to build strong long-term relationships with advisers around the world.”
 
McLaren says: “I’m looking forward to working with a team who understand the value of working in partnership with advisers over the long term to provide the best possible outcome for clients.
 
“Marlborough International has a very strong proposition, based on Marlborough’s reputation for excellence in active fund management, and we see that as being attractive to advisers and their clients around the world.”

In addition, Marlborough International provides a range of offshore single-strategy funds, which feed into the award-winning UK-domiciled fund range operated by Marlborough Fund Managers.
