Wealth manager Fiduciary Trust Company International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton Investments, has appointed Suzanne E Kline as regional managing director for the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley.

Kline, who has worked in the investment and wealth management industry for 30 years, will oversee the company’s private wealth business in Northern California from Fiduciary Trust’s office in San Mateo, California. She will also serve as a member of Fiduciary Trust’s Operating Committee.

“Suzanne has a great deal of experience helping high-net-worth individuals and families reach their long-term financial goals by providing trust and estate, investment management, and specialised wealth services,” says Lawrence A Sternkopf, president and chief operating officer of Fiduciary Trust Company International. “As we continue to grow our presence in Northern California, Suzanne’s wide-ranging expertise will help us deliver customized, institutional-quality wealth management and trust and estate services to more clients in San Francisco, the East Bay and Silicon Valley.”

Kline comes to Fiduciary Trust following 10 years at Wells Fargo, where she was most recently a manager of investment and fiduciary services for the Greater Los Angeles region. She also served as a regional investment manager and senior vice president with Wells Fargo Private Bank in Northern California’s Greater Bay region including Palo Alto, San Jose, East Bay and Carmel. During her time at Wells Fargo, Kline and her team provided a variety of wealth management and trust and estate services, including legacy planning, real estate asset management, philanthropic giving, and business advisory services.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2008, Kline worked for BNY Mellon Wealth Management (formerly Bank of New York) in New York City for 12 years, advising multi-generational families with assets in excess of USD25 million. Earlier in her career, Kline was a vice president in the municipal bond trading and sales group at Lehman Brothers for seven years. Kline holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

“I enjoy working with individuals, as well as multiple generations of families, to achieve personal and financial success using customised investment and wealth management strategies,” says Kline. “Fiduciary Trust’s client-centric culture and team of experienced financial professionals have earned the organisation an outstanding reputation in our industry.”
