RELATED TOPICS

Asset manager 1Sharpe Capital has passed over USD1 billion in assets and commitments.

“This achievement is a testament to the value we’re providing our institutional and private clients as the global asset management industry struggles to find attractive investments in the current environment,” says Rob Bloemker, co-founder and chief investment officer at 1Sharpe. “Our highly focused strategy enables us to identify prime opportunities in both the private and public markets that will generate healthy returns for our investors.”

1Sharpe’s co-founders, Bloemker and Gregor Watson, are uniquely positioned to provide maximum value to their clients, with their decades of expertise in a variety of sectors, including real estate lending, real estate investing, mortgage-backed securities (MBS), as well as PropTech.

“We are very excited and thankful for these partnerships with some of the most sophisticated global investors, and remain committed to being nimble, responsive and capable of finding unique investment opportunities,” says Watson. ‘Our location in the hotbed of tech innovation – the Bay Area – enables us to hire some of the brightest and most creative minds, and find contemporary financial investment options. This milestone proves how important such ingenuity is to our clients’ financial success.”
