Jellifin launches commission-free stocks, ETFs and index options trading

Investors can now trade commission-free stocks, ETFs, equity options and index options on trading platform Jellifin for USD9.99 per month.

Jellifin was founded on the idea that investing should be simple and affordable, without compromises. The new features will allow investors to diversify their portfolio without having to pay commissions or fees for each trade. The company can offer low-cost trading to investors by partnering with Third Party Trade LLC, a brokerage API service provider, and maintaining a low-cost overhead.

Andre Norman, Founder & CEO at Jellifin, says: “Investing in the stock market is already complicated and pricey. Therefore, investors should have all the available tools and resources at their disposal to make an informed decision. Simply offering low-cost trading with stripped away features is not the way to go. But at the same time offering an overly complicated service loaded with expensive fees adds to the core problem investors are currently facing.”

Jellifin’s goal is to allow investors to graduate from existing solutions without sacrificing on cost. Instead of stripping away core features, the company offers investors a suite of tools in a more user-friendly format. With the addition of commission-free stocks, ETFs, and index options trading, new or experienced investors can feel comfortable utilising different investing strategies on the Jellifin platform.

Thanks to relatively low fees, and the convenience and transparency they provide investors, ETFs, in particular, have seen considerable growth over the last decade. The total ETF assets globally reached the USD4.6 trillion mark for the first time last year. With a steady inflow of money into the industry and intensifying competition between ETF providers, ETFs will continue to act as an attractive investment option for investors. With Jellifin’s simple to use interface and new stocks and ETFs trading features, more investors will be able to start investing in the stock market at an affordable price.
