Ultimus to service new fund from Jewish Values Investment Funds

Jewish Values Investment Funds has selected Ultimus Fund Solutions to provide a full range of services. The Six Thirteen Core Equity Fund is launching in Ultimus’ Valued Advisers Trust (VAT), a series trust with over USD1 billion in assets under administration.

Jewish Values Investment Funds is an independent boutique firm that focuses on creating investment strategies that are aligned with Jewish values, including the principles of tikkun olam (repairing the world), promoting the development and growth of the Israeli economy, as well as tzedakah (charity and social justice). The firm recognises that the absence of socially responsible, Jewish faith-based mutual funds represents a significant underserved market segment. With backgrounds in wealth management, the principals of the firm possess a tremendous foundation of investment knowledge.

“We are enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with the Jewish Values Investment Funds,” says Mark Seger, Co-CEO and Managing Director of Ultimus. “Investing in this unique area of the marketplace and learning about this sector brings light to the types of innovative funds that our firm is excited to pursue. As with any client, we work endlessly to put each of our advisers in a position to succeed. We look forward to working with them for years to come.”

“After recognising the abundance of other faith-based mutual funds and ETF’s available to investors, and noticing a clear void of investment options for the Jewish community, we knew something had to change. Now more than ever people are interested in observing the impact their investments make in the world, and to bring the only Jewish values-based mutual fund to the community is a tremendous honour. Taking an innovative approach to Jewish values, an opportunity to support Israel, and giving back to the community has been a very exciting process to create,” says Justin Ross, Managing Partner of Jewish Values Investment Funds.

As part of VAT, the Fund will receive Ultimus’ first-class services including fund administration, compliance, fund accounting, financial administration, transfer agency and distribution. The series trust structure of VAT provides operational efficiencies for the Fund while allowing the firm to quickly leverage cost efficiencies to focus on marketing and distribution initiatives.
