Generali appoints Head of Group Asset Liability Management & Strategic Asset Allocation


Antonio Tedesco has joined Generali as the Head of Group Asset Liability Management & Strategic Asset Allocation (ALM/SAA) within the Group Investments, Asset & Wealth Management business unit.

In his new role, he reports to the Head of Group Investment Management Solutions, Bruno Servant.
Timothy Ryan, Group Chief Investment Officer and CEO Asset & Wealth Management, says: “I am very pleased to welcome Antonio to the team, in a strategic role that will be instrumental for the growth of our business unit and to further strengthen our proposition to customers.”
Tedesco brings to Generali more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector, mainly in Investment Banking and in the Insurance business. He joins Generali from PosteVita, where he was the Head of Asset Management Project and Head of Capital Management, and previously the Head of Finance, with a specific focus on Strategic Asset Allocation and Asset Liability Management. Prior to this, he served in senior positions at JPMorgan Chase Bank in New York and London, with responsibility on client-oriented structured investment products and solutions across all asset classes. He holds a Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from La Sapienza University in Rome.
