VanEck Europe boosts business development with new product manager

RELATED TOPICS

VanEck is expanding its European ETF business with the appointment of Dominik Schmaus as a new product manager.

Schmaus will work with the team to develop innovative products and help to expand the range of products for European clients. He is joining VanEck from Deka Investment GmbH, where he gained years of experience in developing and implementing exchanged-listed index funds as a member of the ETF product management team.

“Both institutional and retail investors remain very interested in ETFs, and we are observing increasing demand in all countries. In appointing Dominik Schmaus, we are reacting to the rising demand for innovations within this product class,” says Torsten Hunke, managing director at VanEck. “His many years of experience will be a great asset for our product management team. We will be able to build on his expertise, particularly in product development and implementation, and benefit from his relationships with market decision-makers, stock exchanges and trading desks.”

“I look forward to the new challenge at VanEck of expanding the ETF portfolio of a world leading ETF provider with client-focussed products,” says Schmaus.
