Punter Southall Aspire completes acquisition of Focus Oxford

RELATED TOPICS

Punter Southall Aspire, a UK workplace pensions and savings company, has completed its acquisition of Focus Oxford, an Oxford-based independent financial advisory firm.

Acquiring Focus Oxford will enable Punter Southall Aspire to grow its retail advisory arm and offer a fully integrated financial advice service for employers and individuals focusing on pensions, pension master trusts, mortgages, ISAs and general investment and wealth management solutions across all tax wrappers.

Focus Oxford has been offering bespoke financial advice in all aspects of financial planning including pensions, investments, mortgages and life assurance to private and corporate clients for the past 27 years. The deal will give the firm economies of scale to boost its growth and the ability to offer clients greater levels of investment and wealth management solutions.

Steve Butler, CEO, Punter Southall Aspire, says: “We are delighted to have completed the acquisition of Focus Oxford LLP, a well-established business that shares our values and vision for making savings and investments less complex and more accessible for everyone.

“This is one of several acquisitions we plan to make over the next few years in the retail finance space that will enhance our proposition for individuals and employers and enable us to deliver financial advice and education in an effective and meaningful way.”
