Mark Hogan, Leah Eller, Pam Appleby and Josh Hogan of the Hogan Eller Wealth Management Group have joined independent wealth advisory firm Snowden Lane’s expanding operation in San Antonio, Texas.
Mark Hogan joins Snowden Lane as a Senior Partner and Managing Director, and Leah Eller as a Partner and Managing Director. Pam Appleby joins as Senior Client Relationship Manager and Josh Hogan as Investment and Planning Analyst. The group joins from Wells Fargo, where Mark Hogan and Leah Eller focused on retirement and estate planning strategies, business services and tax-advantaged education savings plans, or so-called 529 plans, and oversaw over USD150 million in client assets.
The new team will relocate to new offices in San Antonio, along with Senior Partner and Managing Director Larry Barocas, Partner Marcus Selva, and Senior Registered Client Relationship Manager, Debbie Ury, who joined Snowden Lane there last year.
“Mark and Leah are an extraordinary pair that we expect to add immediate value given their career successes and sterling reputations,” says Managing Partner and President of Snowden Lane, Greg Franks. “We’re fortunate to attract top-notch industry talent that shares the same values and client-centric mentality on which our firm was built.”
Rob Mooney, Snowden Lane’s Managing Partner and CEO, adds: “We continue to have our sights set on expansion in the Southwest and when we met this team, we knew it made sense for them to be the ones to help advance that vision. There’s no question that Mark and Leah will be significant assets to our firm.”
Before his start in the wealth management industry, Hogan, a Texas native, graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served six years on active duty as an Army Infantry Officer and 22 more as an Army Reserve Officer.
Eller, an Arkansas native, received her bachelor’s degree from Henderson State University and her MBA from Texas A&M University.
Hogan and Eller hold the Certified Financial Planner designation and the FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 and 31 registrations, in addition to having a Group I Life and Health Insurance license.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for both our team and our clients,” says Hogan, “Joining Snowden Lane not only provides us greater flexibility, but it allows us to better serve our clients as fiduciaries, to help them achieve their financial goals.”
