Boston Private, a provider of full wealth management, trust and private banking services, has appointed John Tassone and Tate Haire as new Senior Wealth Advisors and Co-Heads of Wealth Management, Southwestern Florida.
The appointment completes a strategic alignment with SteelBridge Private Wealth Advisors to increase Boston Private’s reach in the Southwest Florida market.
Tassone and Haire join Boston Private Wealth to further the mission of providing deeply personal and hands-on wealth management and banking for clients. The two will build on their success in developing the SteelBridge Private Wealth Advisors business to act as key architects in bringing and enhancing Boston Private’s offerings to clients in Southwest Florida. Haire and Tassone will be based in Naples.

Haire brings more than 20 years of experience in financial planning, wealth and investment management, insurance, and credit and banking solutions. Prior to SteelBridge, Haire served as a Wealth Advisor with Wells Fargo Private Bank where he was the primary point of contact for high net worth clients. He also held roles at SunTrust as a Private Client Advisor and at BB&T as a Group Private Banking Manager. He is a Certified Financial Planner and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Barton College and an MBA and Masters in Trust and Investment Management, Cum Laude, from Campbell University.
Tassone also brings over 20 years of experience in wealth and investment management, investment banking, estate and tax planning, and private investments. Prior to joining SteelBridge, he was a senior executive at GenSpring Family Offices, a USD20-plus billion multi-family office. Before that, Tassone was an investment banker with Deutsche Bank where he helped originate and execute over 25 merger advisory, debt and equity capital raises, and public offerings worth in excess of USD12 billion. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and received a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University’s Dyson School, an MBA from the Union College Graduate School of Management, and a JD from Albany Law School.
