AltaReturn launches major update to business intelligence solution

AltaReturn, a provider of integrated software solutions for the private equity, venture capital, real estate and family office communities, has launched a new version of its Business Intelligence (BI) solution.

By integrating with Microsoft’s Power BI solution, AltaReturn has brought to the private markets a set of tools for GPs to understand every aspect of their business. From the deal team to investor relations to the back office, every function or role can take advantage of Microsoft Power BI’s analytical tools built right into AltaReturn’s Portfolio Monitoring, CRM and Accounting solutions.
“AltaReturn’s Business Intelligence solution helps us analyse data by providing users interactive, cloud-based dashboards, customisable to our exact needs. The advanced visualisations allow us to interact with data dynamically using a simple, approachable interface. This has led to wide adoption of the platform, getting information to decision makers faster, and relieving our operations team from numerous data requests,” says Ted Johnson, VP of Finance, GroveStreet.
“This new release of our BI solution represents not just a major step forward for the product, but fundamentally changes how GPs can get important insights into their organisation,” says Custodio Toledo, co-founder and CTO of AltaReturn. “With most data kept in disparate systems, GPs are prevented from truly understanding the factors that are impacting their investments, funds and firm. Implementing Microsoft’s Power BI solution into the AltaReturn platform changes that equation.”
