Norcap Investment Management, a Dallas, Texas-based SEC registered investment adviser, has appointed Terrence R Brown as Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer, and Kenneth L Tananbaum and James A White as Managing Directors and Portfolio Managers in the firm’s investment management team.
Brown joins NorCap from CBM Trading in Chicago where he was the Managing Partner. Prior to that he worked as an independent market-maker trading SPX options. Brown began trading options in 1986.
Tananbaum has 28 years of experience trading options and previously served in senior management roles at Tugar Capital Management and Arbitex Asset Management, as well as HBK Investments and O’Connor & Associates. He holds a BA from Yale University.
White worked with Tananbaum at Tugar and previously was the co-founder and managing partner for fourteen years of Excelsior Capital Management, a relative value hedge fund headquartered in Chicago. He was a market maker for over twelve years in Chicago and prior to that served as a combat-ready fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. He holds a BS from Washington & Lee University and a MBA from the University of Chicago.
