Gonet La Française appoints MD and co-head of business development in Switzerland

Gonet La Française Advisors has appointed Peter Stiefel as Managing Director, co-head of business development in Switzerland, alongside Bénédict Fatio.

Stiefel (pictured), has a wealth of experience gained over the course of more than thirty years of experience in the asset management industry. He began his career with UBS where he spent twenty-two years gaining extensive knowledge of the Swiss institutional market and developing an expertise in US equities. Thereafter, Peter spent eleven years with AllianceBernstein as a senior sales representative responsible for fund distribution in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Stiefel is a member of the Swiss Finance Institute and a graduate of their executive program.
 
Philippe Lecomte, CEO of La Française AM International, says: “We have made the Swiss market a priority. With Peter’s contribution, we will be able to better serve our Swiss clients and further promote our expertise in the local market.”
