HANetf appoints raft of service providers to support on-platform ETF clients

European ‘white-label’ UCITS ETF platform HANetf has confirmed a raft of new service provider appointments ahead of planned ETF launches.

HSBC joins HANetf’s expanding list of authorised participants while Penserra Capital Management LLC and Vident Investment Advisory LLC have been appointed to provide portfolio management services to funds on the HANetf platform.

Vident and Penserra are both highly experienced in providing portfolio management and sub-advisory support to ETFs across asset classes and strategies, balancing the multiple objectives of maintaining low tracking error, tax efficiency and liquidity in diverse, global portfolios.

The companies were selected following an exhaustive due diligence process and further add to the ecosystem of world-class service partners supporting the HANetf platform, which provides a full operational, regulatory and distribution service for asset managers who want to successfully launch and manage UCITS ETFs.

HANetf clients will be able to take advantage of this continually expanding ecosystem as they join and issue ETFs through the platform rather than developing their own networks and relationships from scratch.

Nik Bienkowski, co-Founder and co-CEO at HANetf, says: “HANetf has brought a unique proposition to the European ETF market – enabling asset managers with no ETF experience or infrastructure to enter this high-growth industry through a full-service white-label solution. The appointment of Penserra and Vident adds to HANetf’s extensive network of expert service providers, giving asset managers confidence knowing that their UCITS ETFs will be supported by portfolio managers deeply familiar with the requirements of ETF issuers and investors.”

Dustin Lewellyn, Chief Investment Officer at Penserra says: “We are excited to partner with HANetf to help bring a best in class portfolio management solution to their platform.”

Denise Krisko, President of Vident Investment Advisorym says: “Vident is pleased to be partnering with such a distinguished team of experts at HANetf.  We look forward to applying our ETF sub-advisory expertise to HANetf UCITS ETFs and providing a highly effective service to HANetf clients.”
