IW&I expands DFM intermediary team

Investec Wealth & Investment (IW&I) has strengthened its discretionary fund management business development team with the appointment of Paul Atkinson and Emma Stenzel as business development directors.

Atkinson joins IW&I’s Leeds office from Cazenove Capital Management where he was responsible for developing relationships with financial intermediaries with a focus on the North West and Yorkshire. Prior to his role at Cazenove he worked in business development for Quilter Cheviot. Previous roles include working in broker sales for AXA and Friends Provident.
Stenzel joins IW&I’s London office. Her roles have included positions with Alliance Trust, the investment trust, Pictet Asset Management, the institutional asset management company, and at Schroders, where she spent 11 years in a variety of different roles including business development.
Mark Stevens, Head of Intermediary Services, says: “I am delighted to welcome Emma and Paul to IW&I’s DFM team. The recruitment of an additional two high-calibre business development directors is part of IW&I’s strategic growth plan in the intermediary sector and demonstrates our continued commitment to supporting IFAs.”
