St Louis-based financial services firm Benjamin F Edwards & Co has added a total of 14 financial advisors, which collectively bring nearly USD1.2 billion in assets under management (AUM) to the company.

Nine of the new hires came onboard with new offices recently opened in Chesterton, Indiana, Shreveport, Louisiana, and Champaign, Illinois. Chesterton is the firm’s first Indiana location, which gives the company a presence in 27 states, while the Shreveport office joins Mandeville and Metairie as the company’s third location in Louisiana. Champaign is the company’s 13th office in Illinois.

The remaining five advisors joined existing offices – three in Geneva, Illinois, and one each in Hiawatha, Iowa, and Grand Rapids, Michigan.

“Together, these advisors have decades of combined experience and expertise in all aspects of investment and wealth management,” says Marty Altenberger, executive vice president and director of branches for Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. “When it came to choosing a home for their clients and building their business, these advisors recognised what our service-oriented culture and our sophisticated platform of financial products and services can bring to their client relationships.”
