Wealth manager Rowan Dartington has expanded its intermediary and international divisions with the appointment of Bryan Parkinson as managing director for Rowan Dartington Intermediaries (formally Rowan Dartington Signature) and International.
Parkinson joined Rowan Dartington from Barclays Wealth and Investment Management in December 2016 as regional director for the north. In this newly created role, Bryan will be responsible for facilitating the next stage of expansion for Rowan Dartington’s intermediary and international offerings and further developing the firm’s discretionary fund management proposition.
To continue driving Rowan Dartington’s activity and development in the regions, Glen Wilson takes up the role of regional director of the north. Glen joins the firm from Lloyds Banking Group, where he spent 12 years and most recently held the role of regional director for SME banking for the Midlands. Glen will be based in Leeds, ensuring consistency and the very best client experience across all northern offices.
Executive chairman Graham Coxell says: “These developments are core to our overall growth strategy for the business. Since our acquisition by St James’s Place (SJP), Rowan Dartington’s intermediary and international divisions have gone from strength to strength. As managing director of these businesses, Bryan will focus on expanding our already strong industry presence, whilst also bolstering our international services. We also have great ambitions in the regions and continually strive to strengthen and support our teams across the UK. We are therefore pleased to have Glen on board driving forward development in the north.”
